The first of these lines, "Galaxy" was introduced at the Hospitality and Design Show in November 2002.   The concept for Galaxy was selected from the 60 ideation sketches [MAKE] create for Lambert Furniture. The design was further developed in the 3-D modeling program, SolidWorks. Two full scale cardboard mock-ups were created to check proportions and define final dimensions.   After some refinements to the frame form and upholstery detailing the Galaxy line was a reality.   The SolidWorks file was updated and drawings were generated so Lambert could build the prototype.
